The other co-feature was a great six-round encounter won by Catonsville, MD lightweight Joshua Davis who earned a split decision over a very game Joel Flores of Hart, MI. Landover, MD junior middleweight "The Cuban Assassin" Larry Recio scored his second straight knockout win stopping Chicago, IL's debuting Mike Santiago at the end of the second round. Fort Washington, MD bantamweight Marq "The Monster" Johns stopped Gabriel Braxton of Ellenswood, GA at 1:01 of the second round. Johns landed a solid overhead right to drop Braxton, who beat the count but was unfit to continue. Johns is 2-0-1, two KO's while Braxton is 0-2.
