Joshua Davis faced the debuting Darus Somieari. In that bout Davis started slow but finished strong. He picked up the pace as each round ended. Two judges scored the bout 40-36, and the third judge scored it 39-37 all for the unanimous decision win for Davis.
Davis moves to 4-0, 2KO's as Somieari starts his career off 0-1.
