Recio Scores Third Round TKO!

Larry Recio of Springdale, MD was very precise landing crushing bodyshots that eventually stopped Brian "Bad Boy" Meadows of Clearwater, FL in the third round of a junior middleweight bout.

Recio was also very patient as he took his time landing his shots.  By the time the stoppage took place, Meadows had no defense.  Recio landed a crushing right hand to the body that made Meadows lunge forward and lose his mouthpiece.  Meadows's corner, led by former three-time world champion Nate Campbell and former Virginia State Lightweight titleholder Jaime "The Punisher" Palma had seen enough.  The bout was stopped at 1:29 of the third round.

Recio scores his first pro knockout and is now 2-0, one KO.  Meadows falls to 1-5-2.

Next is our co-feature -- "The Karate Kid" Josh Elkins of Waldorf, MD vs. Brandon Priest from West Dundee, IL.  Four rounds in the middleweight division.
