Nelson Wins Third World Title With 10-Round Unanimous Decision in Rhode Island!!

Congratulations to Ashburn, VA's Tori "ShoNuff" Nelson who is now a three-time world champion! The undefeated Nelson dropped down in weight and won a 10-round unanimous decision over Aleksandra Magdziak Lopes of Marshfield, MA to capture the vacant WIBA (Women's International Boxing Association) Welterweight title Friday night at the Twin River Event Center in Lincoln, RI.
According to the scorecards, Nelson was dominant in the contest, scoring shutouts on two of the cards (100-90). The third judge scored the bout 98-92.
Nelson adds this title to the WBC Middleweight and WIBA Middleweight titles she already owns. Nelson is now 7-0-3. Lopes falls to 10-2, one KO. Nelson has added new people in her corner -- Baltimore trainers James Hogan and Mack Allison have joined Craig Fladeger in Nelson's camp.
