Edwin Reyes has scored a third-round TKO in what was, at times, a wild contest against Greg Faust.
Overall, Reyes fought very well inside as he looked to land a home run shot. Reyes landed one in the second round and dropped Faust. However, Reyes, for whatever reason, couldn't stop punching. Referee Dave Braslow counted the knockdown but also took a point away from Reyes. In my opinion, a good call and Reyes was fortunate he was not disqualified.
Reyes finally did land the shot he was looking for in the third round -- a right hand that sent Faust crashing to the canvas for good. The bout was stopped at 2:47.
Reyes is 2-0, two KO's. Faust is 1-2.
Co-feature is next: James "Keep 'Em Sleepin'" Stevenson taking on James Hope of Rock Hill, SC in a six rounder.
