Undefeated Fort Washington, MD light heavyweight Thomas "Top Dog" Williams, Jr. takes another big step in his career as he faces former multi-time regional champion Yusef "The Mack Attack" Mack of Philadelphia, PA in a 10-round contest on Tuesday, November 26 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL.
The bout will be on a card headlined by the return of former world champion Antonio Tarver and will be the first scheduled 10-round contest for Williams (14-0, 10 KO's). The card is slated to be shown on Fox Sports 1, however, no official word on whether Williams's bout makes the telecast. In his last outing, Williams won an eight-round unanimous decision over Otis Griffin on May 18 in Atlantic City, NJ.
Mack (31-6-2, 17 KO's) has won the USBA, NABF and NABA
Light Heavyweight titles as well as the USBA Super Middleweight championship during his career. Mack has also challenged for two world titles, getting knocked out by Carl Froch in the third round for the IBF Super Middleweight title on November 17 of last year in Nottingham, United Kingdom and by Tavoris Cloud in the eighth round for the IBF Light Heavyweight title in St. Charles, MO in March of 2011.
In his last bout, Mack lost a 12-round unanimous decision to undefeated Cedric Agnew for the USBA Light Heavyweight crown on April 12 in New Buffalo, MI.
