Another big Saturday of Beltway Boxing is ahead of us today. However, BATB will not be a part of it on this day.
Back in January, I was asked to serve as the public address announcer for the DC Divas of the Women's Football Alliance. The Divas are at home (Prince George's Sports and Learning Center in Landover, MD) Saturday to take on the Columbus Comets at 6 PM tonight. Neither event (The pro-am card in Springfield, VA or the Regional Golden Gloves in Waldorf, MD) had been scheduled, to my knowledge, when I was contacted by the Divas.
Therefore, I will honor my commitment to the Divas and will rely on you, the Beltway Boxing Community, to post information about either boxing card tonight in the comments section of this post. I also hope to get information from both sources late in the weekend to post full results early next week. Thank you for your understanding.
