NABO Light Heavyweight champion Thomas "Top Dog" Williams, Jr. of Fort Washington, MD will take part in a non-title 10-round contest against veteran Enrique Ornelas of La Habra, CA on Thursday, April 24 at the Aqua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, CA. The bout will be the co-feature on a special Thursday night edition of ESPN2's Friday Night Fights.
This will be the fourth straight TV appearance for the undefeated Williams (16-0, 11 KO's) and if it's anything like his last appearance, it should be exciting. Williams faced Cornelius White on ESPN2 exactly three months ago on January 24 in Shelton, WA and scored a first-round TKO dropping White twice in the round and suffering a knockdown in the process.
Ornelas (34-8, 22 KO's) is a former two-time world title contender who hasn't fought since May of 2013 when he won a seventh-round TKO over Issac Mendez in Cancun, MX.
