'Black Ice' Cummings Competes In Final Night of 'Knockout' TV Series!

One other Beltway Boxer will be traveling this week. Baltimore, MD light heavyweight and former Maryland State Super Middleweight champion Cory "Black Ice" Cummings will be participating in an eight-round contest against Azea Augustama of Hollywood, FL by way of Haiti on Saturday, June 7 at the Casino Miami Jai Alai in Miami, FL.

The bout will be part of the live event that finishes the first season of a boxing reality series called "Knockout" that appeared this year on NUVO TV.  The show was a tournament-style series that showed boxers training with well-known trainers like Floyd Mayweather, Sr., Ruben Guerrero and Yoel Judah.

Cummings (17-5-1, 13 KO's) has not fought since losing a 10-round unanimous decision to William Joppy in March of 2011 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA.  Augustama (16-1, nine KO's) is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision over Jermain Mackey on January 18 at the Casino Miami Jai Alai.

The card will be shown live on the NUVO TV network at 7 PM ET.
