We gave you one of the results from Saturday's Jeter Promotions/RBA Promotions card at the ABC Sports Complex in Springfield, VA. Here are the rest of those results.
Debuting, 6'7" Columbia, MD heavyweight Stan Williamson stopped Keanu Braithwaite of North Carolina at 34 seconds of the second round. Williamson's height was definitely formidable as the much shorter Braithwaite showed more of his back to Williamson than his front. Early in the second round, referee Billy Johnson had enough of the proceedings and stopped the contest. Braithwaite was also making his pro debut.
Williamson's cousin, Bobby Gunn, Jr. of Hackensack, NJ remained undefeated by making short work of debuting Evan Coben of Elkton, MD. Gunn battered Coben around until Malik Waleed stopped the bout at 1:32 of the first round. Gunn is now 4-0, four KO's.
Fernandina Beach, FL heavyweight Chris Vendola scored a first-round TKO over the debuting Valriquas Bullock of North Carolina. The 44-year-old Vendola raised his record to 6-5, six KO's.
Also, undefeated Atlanta, GA welterweight D'Andre Smith stopped Nathan Petty of Louisville, KY at 1:44 of the third round to raise his record to 5-0, four KO's. Petty is now 1-10.
A postscript to Edgar Perez's upset victory over previously undefeated Lavarn Harvell -- Perez received a bonus of $500 for his accomplishment.
