The Ponytail Promotions card slated for Saturday, June 28 at Du Burns Arena in Baltimore, MD is coming together with more bouts being added.
There will be a second women's contest on the card as undefeated Baltimore, MD flyweight Tyrieshia "Lady Tiga" Douglas will battle Christina Fuentes of Laredo, TX in a six-round encounter. Douglas (3-0, one KO) has not fought since July 20 when she won a four-round unanimous decision over Marisol Miranda at Coppin State University in Baltimore. Fuentes (3-5-3) is a two-time former world title challenger who is coming off a four-round unanimous decision over Mikayla Nebel on March 14 in Hamilton Township, NJ.
Undefeated Laurel, MD middleweight Demond "D Best At It" Nicholson will participate in his first scheduled six-round bout when he takes on Lester "El Cubanito" Gonzalez of San Diego, CA by way of Havana, Cuba. Nicholson (6-0, six KO's) has only been out of the first round once and that was when he stopped his opponent in the second round in his pro debut. Gonzalez (12-13-4, six KO's) is looking to break a seven-bout losing streak.
Baltimore, MD featherweight Glenn Dezurn, Jr. returns to action on this card as he faces Cody Fuller of Tulsa, OK in a four-round contest.
